Zed

Zed is a free and open-source text and source-code editor for Linux and macOS developed by Zed Industries. A Windows version is in development.

Supported features include GPU rendering, Language Server Protocol (LSP), Tree-sitter, a debugger with support for Debug Adapter Protocol (DAP), AI assistance, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Git, multi-buffer editing, remote development and real-time collaborative editing with other Zed users or AI agents.
